10 Realizations That Help Me Live A Happy Life

  • 11535823_10204834937138204_4782723541142025007_nWhatever happened was the best that could have happened, so it’s wise to stop wasting your time regretting the past but instead see it as a learning opportunity. The only thing you have is this present moment.
  • You’re the cause of everything around you, instead of a victim enduring the consequences of someone else’s actions.
  • You can never get hurt because the real you is formless, so it’s okay to drop your worries and start exploring the world and its endless possibilities.
  • It’s okay to follow your heart and trust that the universe will take care of you. Don’t say you can’t follow your passion because life is too short to waste on things you don’t enjoy doing just so you can live longer and keep doing things you don’t love!
  • There’re no others. Whatever you do to “others”, you’re doing to yourself.
  • You always have a choice, so start taking responsibility for your choices and stop blaming others for “making” you do certain things.
  • You can’t love anyone without loving yourself first. Looking for love in another person never works.
  • Nothing stays unchanged and that’s the beauty of the world we live in. Looking only for stability will deprive yourself of the opportunities for your consciousness to evolve.
  • You’re alive and thriving because of a collective effort – the pilot who didn’t crash the plane but send you home safely, the farmer who grew your food, the engineer who designed your computer, the writer who wrote the book you’re reading, etc. It’s important to be grateful for that.
  • We are beautiful different manifestations of the same origin, so it’s okay to recognize ourselves as different individuals, but we also need to know that we’re all earthlings living on the same planet, interconnected with each other.
