Hearty Veggie Soup

This soup is perfect for winter with the ginger powder and hot chili powder. The trick to making it nice is to fry all the vegetables before boiling them in a big pot, so the flavors are stronger.

Here’s me making the soup in our kitchen at home πŸ™‚

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 potato
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1 tomato
  • 10 pieces fried tofu
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. ginger powder
  • 1 tsp. hot chili powder

Instructions:

  • Cut everything into cubes except for the garlic.
  • Fry the onion for about 2 minutes until it starts to burn a little. Add the fried tofu pieces and stir for a minute.
  • Add all the other veggies and condiments to the frying pan and stir for about 10 minutes.
  • When the carrot and potato are soft, pour everything into a pot, add water, and boil for about 3 minute. Serve!

Makes 2 – 3 servings
